Well of course. Although the idea of most situations like these are to take all power away from the sub, you want to at least give your partner some way to voice how they can basically say "please keep me like this" or "please let me out" or something like that. In my idea there would be a 10-minute check-up, where you quick say "doing alright?" and the sub nods or shakes their head
