Scared the SHIT outa me. Flying/Stinging insects and I DO NOT get along. He was just sitting still, but as soon as i took the pic he got all mad and I nearly threw my camera when I squealed and jumped away XD

Muahaha, attack of the giant mutant killer wasps... FROM OUTER SPACE!!! *cue overly dramatic and ominous music*
How big was it? There's nothing in the pic that let's me guess... Although any wasp > 10cm gives me slight creeps xD

Btw, don't drop the camera when you do jump away, it only encourages them xD

HOLY SHIT, not a wasp. 8c That thing's too big and those colors aren't dark enough. That's a hornet, the pimp daddy of all stinging/flying insects. The inside of their bodies are mostly stinger. You know how people use black and yellow together to indicate caution? Think about that for a while.
Last summer, I had a large wasp nest behind the door frame. ABOVE THE FRONT DOOR TO MY HOUSE! I used 3 cans of raid on it, and They didn't do a thing! If anything, it killed a few wasps, but the colony got larger!
One time, they almost attacked the UPS guy. He rang the doorbell, and while we were talking through the screen door, he looked up to where the nest was and went "uhhhh.... shoot.", then ran.
...On the plus side, I didn't get that many salesmen ringing my doorbell.

I HATE wasps and ground bees (type of bee that makes their nest underground).
I remember when I was a young kid, my dad was using a Ford tractor and a mower attachment to make a new trail on our property line unfortunately he didn't knew he drove over a ground bee nest and REALLY pissed them off. I went out looking for him along the new trail, the next thing I knew I was screaming as I was now covered in head to toe with angry bees.
I quickly ran to my dad who stopped what he was doing and started swatting the bees off of me with his straw hat, he picked me up and got me to the tractor as we raced back to the house.
Since that dad I've been terrified of ground bees, wasps and any kind of flying/stinging insects. *shudders in fear*
