Hey, y'all. I've been gone for a while... sorry. I've been dealing with some pretty rowdy dizzy spells since we got back from WDW in July. I've been to my doctor and to an ENT and no one's really sure what it is. The ENT suggested I go to a neurologist to see if they can figure it out, so I have that appointment on Thursday.
ANYWAY! Here's a lion at Animal Kingdom from June 2015. We've had some really good luck with the lions these last few trips.

We find that the best time to see the lions is during the later safaris. This was an early morning one I think, but they're more active when they're sensing they're about to be called in for the night. All three of them were awake and moving around during both of our safaris this day.
The night-time safaris are AWESOME. They have this "eternal sunset" lighting that's just fantastic. We rode at 10:30 at night and it still looked like the sun was just setting. Beautiful. They don't do them all the time, and I think they're stopping for the slow season too, but they're totally worth it if you they're offered during your trip. We got to hear the lion roaring both times we rode at night. My sister tried to get a video, but she wasn't fast enough. I didn't get any photos because it was way too dark and I just wanted to enjoy. But yes, great experience. :)
