This is a relatively quick little piece that I'm taking with me to Archon convention this coming weekend. I like to try to have at least one brand new piece to show off at each convention I attend.
I colored this with the Blick Studio colored pencils, which blend a lot like Caran d'Ache pencils, but cost a quarter of the price. Blick pencils have some minor crumbling issues if the points are too sharp, but otherwise these are really good colored pencils and I recommend them.
I added some shiny details with a gold paint pen and various gel pens. I also gave him a small piece of turquoise there in the lower right.

Thanks very much!
I really do prefer the Caran d'Ache (Pablo) pencils over all of the hard-lead pencils I've tried, but the cost is absurd. I was very pleasantly surprised by how closely the Blick pencils emulate the Carans. They're definitely good for getting a feel for the difference between hard- and soft-lead pencils when I switch off between projects.
