Here's the next installment of the Hazards of Smoking comics, being done by the wonderfully talented
jenociide. As always, please head on over to her page here for more of her delightful artwork, as well as check out her page on deviantArt for additional artwork not posted here on FA. Also, a larger version of this picture can be found by clicking the Download link here on DA, where you can also leave comments directly to her, if you enjoy this series. Jenociide is also open for commissions others, and her prices are very reasonable.
Fishing is such a delightfully, relaxing activity, and enjoying a nice smoke while doing so, only makes everything seem so much more peaceful and serene. However, falling asleep with a lit cigarette in your mouth is a recipe for disaster, as Rodent soon discovers. Quickly waking and jumping up when his cigarette drops onto his fur and starts to smoulder, the rat loses his balance and falls off the boat and into the water. Of course, having been lured in, a large, hungry fish bypasses the hooked bait and goes right for a more substantial meal.
I really love the overhead perspective she chose to use, and the water came out absolutely wonderful. Once again, she has me smiling in delight at how this comic has turned out. My thanks to Jenociide for putting up with my odd ideas and turning them into wonderful commissioned pieces. :)

I mean in the bigger picture it seems poor Rodent is always doomed to be prey. Not that it's really a bad thing. He keeps coming back for more and fails to take the most basic measures to protect himself. I've joked to Savant that we couldn't possibly visit you because your house seems to have terrible security against predators.
