Burstcoffee getting to grips with his golden idol side!


First panel: Burstcoffee is exploring the ruins of the Sky Pillar, before he accidentally activates a secret rune, causing immense levels of powerful poke-energy to blast his body, converting him into the pokemon deity Arceus. Powerful and wise, Burst could only begin to imagine what he could do as this form.

Second panel: Unfortunately, another sinister force had been monitoring Burst's progress through the ruins and upon detecting his transformation, began immediately transporting him into a pocket dimension filled with inanimate transformation processes. I imagine its probably Sammy, as she's responsible for most things like this, she's been waiting forever for the chance to capture the likeness of such a rare pokemon in her art gallery! The world shifts and changes around Burst as his new powerful arceus form is permanently transformed and encased into a shiny gold statue, freezing in place, glistening in golden silence.

Third panel: In a flash the arceus statue finds itself resting somewhere new, its surrounded by priceless artworks in a quiet art gallery somewhere. He can't move, speak or anything, just stand there proudly, trapped as a golden god on display.

Artist notes: Drawing Arceus is one of the hardest forms I've ever had to draw, its an incredibly awkward design, trying to line up the rings on his back with a proper perspective is just insane. I'm really glad with how this came out, so just enjoy the little details, like his hands and face changing in tandem with the encasement ;)
