Well, the pose just looks somewhat unnatural, granted anthropomorphic centaurish foxes are very unnatural, but the spine does look a bit oddly contorted there.

Anyhow, after careful consideration I think your biggest problem is that the subject isn't long enough. The spine of a creature like a centaur should realistically be over ten feet long, yours looks considerably less than that. By making the spine so short it forces you to both scrunch things up and make your characters pose more dramatic and forced than it needs to be.

Don't get the wrong idea though, there are a number of things you did very well on this picture. I don't want you to feel like I'm criticizing you, just trying to offer some, hopefully helpful advice. I reiterate, you did well, better than I could probably do, just offering advice is all.

I don't generally look at taurs, but i like your stuff.
