y'know, can someone explain to me why starfox was so awesome, I never got into it.

The original starfox was awesome because it was cutting edge tech. It was the first time real 3D had been done on the console.
Starfox 64 was awesome because the multiplayer modes were loads of fun, my friends and I spent hours shooting one another down.

not really, the vectrix did it before but it was without solid shape drawing, all wireframe....and quite shitty.

Also, there was another game that used the SuperFX chip called Vortex... and it sucked.

Star Fox was awesome because the game play was awesome. It's still fun despite the dated graphics.

Oh god, GoldenEye!
Played it at a friends house one time and my kid sister who had never even picked up an N64 controller beat ALL of us!
It was hilarious!

The stupidest possible way: with vektors in a 2D paint program.
I used a resized screenshot as reference and to pick colors.
