Freedom of speech!?! Oh, Captain, you're not really that kind of old fuddy-duddy, are you? What if somebody says something that's not politically correct? Or that you disagree with? Or even worse, against the cause (gasp!)?

The hilarious thing is that his opponents will embrace and accept any speech, but only it it falls within their threshold of tolerance. Their Modus Operandi is "Be yourself, but not like that!"
I do find it funny with social justice types can't have a decent conversation and just go about trolling folks who they think are easy targets. Too bad The Captain is a war hero and a total badass who will have none of it.

The Social Justice League has some precarious thoughts on Free Speech - folks can say whatever they want, as long as its politically correct. The Captain could care less about what they have to say, however he will defend their right to say it. But once they threaten him with violence and censorship, all bets are off. He sees them the same as the communists that he fought back in 1962 - only they carry different signs and shout different slogans.
