Another bit of jewelry! This one in particular reminded me of all the waters tied into nurturing life and being a new mother. The womb, giving birth, nursing, etc. Really made me think about a lot of things as I was working on it. Wherever it finds a home, I hope it is just as special for the person that receives it!
Whenever possible, I favor natural stones (or minimally processed stones, as needed for the integrity of certain materials). This necklace is a combination of gemstone, pearl, shell, and metal accent beads. If you'd like to know more about how I pick my beading material, feel free to ask!
Strung on durable, flexible wire and triple crimped to make it extra sturdy. (Even so, take care!) This necklace drapes just along the collar bone.
