Sapphire is meek, shy and is generally self-effacing and soft-spoken. She believes that peace and kindness are by far the strongest tools living beings have and will try to reason with even the most evil of creatures if it will prevent a battle. She's a very small kobold, standing a mere 2'1'. Her physical strength is lacking and she weight is a laughable 20 pounds.
Sapphire's best strengths lie in her powers of healing and negotiation. If a battle is inevitable, she enters combat with regret (though no hesitation) for the lost chance to prevent bloodshed and will avoid killing unless absolutely necessary. She has even been known to heal those whom she has defeated if there is any possibility that their spirit can be salvaged.
But if you think any of this is an excuse to cross her, there are some other things you should know. Sapphire is a powerful cleric and a bishop of the church of Sarenrae. Using her divine powers, she has overthrown demons, devils, and even had a hand in destroying an ancient, nameless god of pure evil. She has powerful, loyal allies (including the goddess herself, who will swear divine retribution if one of her clerics is killed in service of her) and carries a magical sword in the Goddess' image; wielding it in a deadly fighting style of spinning dives and lunges that make her relative physical weakness a moot point. She has an almost unnatural amount of willpower and her size, speed, and natural armor make trying to physically harm her a very difficult proposition.
Though her sword and her magical power of choice have the power to deal damage without killing, she will not hesitate to perform a lethal coup de grace to finish an evil that is beyond cleansing once and for all. She has befriended dragons, Paladins, Clerics, warriors, and even a lich in her travels and people take an almost instant liking to her wherever she goes in spite of her species. As a result, she'll almost never be alone in her travels.
As someone who is also a capable Warpriest, she has also been known to take on an angelic form in fights, igniting her magical blade with the heat of the sun with hardly a thought.
Basically what I'm saying is, if you somehow managed to get on Sapphire's bad side, YOU DONE FUCKED UP.

So, you might think that her golden color is a part of her transformation in this picture. But surprisingly, that is NOT the case! You remember this picture: http://ryusuta.deviantart.com/art/S.....born-611085216 where I said there was an alternate version? Well, a gold-scaled version IS that alternate version. At a certain point in Sapphire's travels, she opts to allow her scales to become a golden color rather than the blue she was born with. When she goes so, her eyes turn white and blue, effectively swapping the gold and blue coloration. Here is the other version I had made back then: http://sta.sh/01c39yvucdtz
Anyway, I wanted this picture to be both intimidating and visually pleasing. Sometimes it's hard to find just the right balance for glow effects, but ultimately, I just kinda gave it my best shot.
It's funny, I really sometimes feel guilty talking about Sapphire because I don't want to bug people. but every time I do so, people like to see and hear more, so... I don't know. I guess here it is. I hope you liked this, guys. I put a ton of work into it.
One last note: I was literally IN THE PROCESS of uploading this when I realized I had forgotten her tail and had to go back and add it in. Better late than never, I guess. XP

greater spirit/lesser goddess alt Feral might like to take a tussle with this little kobold sometime, purely friendly of course she loves fighting indaviduals who lie on the extreme ends of the choice spectrum, the good she enjoys testing the convictions of, the evil she enjoys slaughtering because theres far to much evil in this universe already, every one she destorys brings things closer to balance, and balance is where sh elikes it a balanced universe is where one where everyone is free to chose there own path unimpeeded by an outside force...and choice is what feral in the end is all about.
one part nature one part living up to advice her mother gave her a long time ago , 'untested faith and untried convictions are like a sword left out to rust both will eventually crumble to nothing' plus she legitimately enjoys a friendly fight besides, shes always been a warrior ever since she was little and testing herself too is also fun, especially against opponents she respects.
as to the how she would go about testing her, it varies debate is a method she likes useing but she would need to spend a long amount of time in your world learning about it, and specifically sapphire's religion and history before she would try that, another method she has employed is trial by ordeal seting a particular moral conundrum, sometimes a very grey one depending on the individual, before them and seeing how they resolve it, sometimes she could do something totaly diffrent, her nature makes predicting feral very hard.
for example, try this rather tricky situation
saphire has been called to be an arbiter in a small trial in a tiny isolated village, her council will determine the punishment, of any of the accused who has already admitted guilt to the crime.
the accused is a farmer from just outside town, his crime theft of property from the local merchant, specifically a very rare and very expensive herb.
however the reason why he stole this herb was because both his wife and young daughter had contracted a lethal illness and the herb is part of the only known treatment for it, there was no other source for the herb int here area but the merchant as it did not grow in this area and the farmers daughter and wife would have died before the trade caravans arrived...he could only afford enough of the herb for one batch of the medicine...and he paid for that...he then stole an equal amount later that night after having seen where the shopkeeper kept it....thus he would have enough to make enough medicine for both his wife and daughter to survive rather then having to chose to save one and watch the other waste away.
what would sapphire's rulling then given all of this be?

Assuming the man has no prior criminal record and this genuinely WAS a move of desperation Sapphire would negotiate a deal by which the man works off the debt to the merchant without putting his family in jeopardy. If the merchant is unwilling to allow the man to do this (or his travel schedule prohibits it), Sapphire would pay the merchant's debt herself on the understanding that the man works off his debt in service of the church of Sarenrae. She would offer leniency because of extenuating circumstances, but admonish the man to exercise more forethought in the future, lest he wind up in debters' prison and unable to care for his wife OR his daughter.
