You probably all know by now that i'm a huge fan of Pokemon, pretty much ever since i was six or seven, but it was only later that i found out about Digimon, which i sadly never really grew up with, there was not a single trace of digimon games, merch and shows anywhere and still isn't really where i live, which is quite a shame now that i think about it x.x
And that may be the reason why i barely draw any Digimon, so i really wanted to break that habit here, i held a poll on twitter asking who i should draw, the choices being Renamon, Guilmon, Gabumon and Flamedramon, as you might have guessed Guilmon won by quite a long shot, and how can you really blame them? x3
So here's a big tubbo of a Guilmon kicking back with a tummy full of bread, and it's already asking for more! you should always listen to your belly if you wanna grow bigger i suppose~
If i'm completely honest i'm a little unhappy with how this turned out, when i worked on the sketch yesterday i had to scrap three previous sketches, and i've never scrapped that many before until i got a decent result, which got me really frustrated, not to mention i had to deal with an art thief over on Twitter, so it wasn't the best of days ;w;
And this is the best i could do for now, i think the pressure of making every picture look as amazing as that shower pic i did is really weighing me down quite a bit, i suppose for every great pic there's a 100 less great ones
I really hope you enjoy it nonetheless, anybody got baguettes to donate?

So I'm not the only one who never got to experience the Digimon craze, huh? I am glad!! And I have to say, for someone who is not well acquainted with the characters, you made an impressive job, and the effort and determination on finishing this pic really show. I doubt I would have continued if I had made two sketches and I wasn't completely satisfied. That sure is remarkable of your personality.
I would also want to point out that the shadows in this pic are simply amazing. You totally nailed the realism of the shadows cast by that bellybutton. I would have never though about drawing it like that and it certainly looks terrific! Great job!! I wish I could improve my style as much as you do from one pic to the next! :D

Oh jeez you honestly made my day by saying that, the saying to never give up has practically been burned into my mind, and i'm glad it did honestly, if i gave up i wouldn't have drawn this at all x3
But thank you so much! This is the first time i've tried shading the belly button area like that so i'm glad somebody took notice, it's definitely something i've never seen before either so i had to try it out~!

I definitely agree with Guilmon being one hard dino to draw, especially with all those little details everywhere. ^.-.^;
Still, I find you've done an excellent job with this! All the shapes and curves are lovely~ His fat face really caught my attention as to how accurate it is. ;3 Great job on the shading too! It really shows off how thick his fat is, and how deep his belly-button goes~ X//3
And mrawr, that big... BIG belly...~ <3 Love how it's almost got a mind of its own there too. Better listen to it, Guilmon. The bigger the better after all. >;3

He's just the right size for someone to sprawl out on his belly, enjoying how soft and jiggly it is while feeding him even more bread If you need to take a break every now and again from drawing, that's okay. I know I take breaks from writing sometimes and it does help at times. I hope you feel better soon.
