I don't often draw characters on SecondLife because of course, the avatar is created by someone other than the character, and the creator of the look should get as much credit, I feel, as the creator of the original character based on that original species. The Crux is no exception. I have been absolutely in love with these since first seeing one donned by a friend a year ago. Since their appearance, quite a few (to my delight) have shown up. This particular Crux, named Vel, was kind enough to pose for me for a couple hours while i drew her. There is another Crux I shall be drawing soon with a little more practice because I want to do a full body image (with wolf cuddling included) when I have more time, but this was wonderful practice.

grey_vel on Secondlife, and has gone out of her way to try to make himself the most adorable possible example of her breed. Somehow I fear this might not be part of Malluch's original vision, but since when do ones children fail to horrify their parent? As Cruxes go, perhaps Vel is rebelling. Loved it though. Enjoy the pic, I may eventually color it.
If Malluch expresses stabbity rage over this image, I may remove it.

I adore most of the forms you have shown me. my favorite for you was the one wolf that had the unique head design, but I think part of that was the adorable AO youhad for that as well. But I like you for more than just whatever form you are wearing. Your Crux as fine though, Bark. :3
Don't be afraid ot use hard angles and stark contrast! Also, they tend to like steampunk themes for some reason. :3 Also, use your own style! It can still look like a crux, and be a crux, in your own unique style. Don't be too worried if it doesn't look like the SL originals. Ultimately, your style is about your growth, and it will change over time, but your journey will always be your own.
