Nope! No snow here yet, but the leaves have started turning colors. Actually, the leaves turning colors caused some color temperature issues with this shoot. There was some warmer hues in certain parts that caused a little bit of a problem in post.
As for the overall brightness of the pictures I tend to set my camera's exposure to +2/3 EV. I do this to bring out the details in the dark black latex. I also take the photos into Adobe Lightroom to do a bit of the aforementioned post-processing. I Usually adjust the highlight, shadow, white, and black levels, as well adding some color effects (gradient filters and/or split toning) if I feel the pictures would benefit from that.
