There are many concepts of what an orc looks like. The most widely known is the green skinned orc. Tolkien depicted his orcs as 'dark skinned' if I remember right. But in many other versions their skin varies (see WoW). In my story there is a reason why orcs can't be green. High orcs have a skin tone similar to native Americans and regular orcs have a more olive toned skin (brown olive not green)
