Well I finished my favorite scene out of my animation. D'AWWW THAT MEANS YOU HAVE LESS FUN STUFF TO LOOK FORWARD TO! No, but srsly, this scene was really difficult because of all the expression changes and subtleties. I scrapped it over and over and over, and I'm finally done with it (save for a possible background change, god I suck at backgrounds :C).
Well, I hope you like! Inked, colored and inbetweened mostly over last weekend and today. The keys were done last semester.
Tools used: Paper, pencils, camera, Flash.

Not enough, honestly :/ I spent all last semester animating it on paper, then I sat on my thumbs for two months this semester kind of intimidated by it all. I've only just recently started inking and coloring, and I'm trying to bust my ass cause I wasted so much time.
I have no idea how many hours though.. More than I'd like to count. Just inking coloring and inbetweening this took maybe... 10-12 hours I want to say?

I really enjoy the whole, "Whoops, silly me, I dropped it look." Especially since that looks comes before he drops it!
That and the whole disgusted rejection of it in the first place, like: 'What (anteater) man would want you now?!' :P
And, of course, the sly look back to the shop, off panel. :}===<
So, I guess I rather like the whole thing! :D

Ok, don't dog yourself for the background.
Srsly.... think of it this way..... professional studios have animators....and background artists for a reason....
If you're concentrating on animation.....you probably don't have time to dink around with background.
At the very least, you put SOMETHING in there for context.
Either way....good work.
