Wildlife is scarce and transient in The Weeping Forest. The corrupted magic seeps through the roots of towering, decaying trees to which enormous mushrooms siphon life from. Yet, the magic also slows the rate of the decay, making the wary traveler feel that they are frozen in perpetual autumn.
