Engine Install Take One
This absolutely stunning piece was done by my good friend
to celebrate my car being completed after almost two years. There's still a couple small kinks to work out, but it's progressing nicely.
I would like to thank RJ for being such an awesome friend and tailoring this picture to pretty much my exact requests. I can't even begin to convey my satisfaction with this. Those of you who know these cars will recognize every part pretty much instantly. Even down to the lost 10mm wrench.

owo not bad! When I was debating on which car I should get, it was between a 2001 Nissan Maxima and a 2008 Subaru Forester.. I chose the Maxima for more power over AWD, but even so, it would have been an awesome car to have <3
Also note, it looks like the cam cover looks more wide like a DOHC setup when the front timing belt cover shows an SOHC setup x3 But art is art! owo

Nope. The picture is correct. The phase 1 engines have smaller valve covers. The heads were redesigned for these phase 2 engines.
Here is a photo of the engine coming out before the valve covers were painted. They are quite large.

Here's a picture of a dual cam cover for reference. Note the location of the spark plug holes.
