They wanted a seal/logo/icon for these firemen olympics sort of deal...our FD chief suggested something with the Maltese cross and a dalmation; I picked up other details skimming info about Pearsall (whose motto is "largest town between San Antonio and Laredo" so didn't give a lot to go on). Green colors, railroad hub and wagons was what I got. Had to add the TX and beef up the dog, but most of it matched the original sketch.
