Really neat photo. In college for one my history classes I was in a group that did for our final project a presentation on Stonehenge. Since I was the only one in our group with modeling skills I got presented with the problem of building a scale model of it so we could have it with us when we presented our findings to the classes. I also had to do all the research into the proposed building techniques and potential origin locations of the stones for it. It was a lot of work but we good a really good grade for it!

And I'd imagine that it's not just a good project, but it gives you a great insight into what people who were supposed to be 'primitive' could actually do. D'you have any pics of your model left? That would be really interesting to see, BC. :)

Alas no. Soon after I recycled some of the megaliths for some fantasy miniatures I was painting at the time and wanted to poses in a diorama.

I love the perfect silhouettes of the people standing in the arch, and how the outline of the stone is very strong but you can still see the textures. Wonderful composition too.
