Briar and Willow are both feral creatures thrown together to meet up with their 'owners' they have no way to communicate and are as far from similar as they can get.

The thorny vines entangled in his chains didn't bother him nearly so much as the suckers stuck to his masks. It upset the spirits and they chattered non stop and tried to take over his body. Willow understood the need for it though as his floating jerky gait was enough to make even the most weathered Seaman nauseous.
A chirp to the right side or a pop of a sucker on the left is the only way the BloomSnap could think to guide the rocking jolting beast beneath her and while it seemed like he understood he seemed annoyed. Briar held on tightly with sucker and vine as Willow picks up the pace and jumps from shadow to shadow appearing and disappearing through the veil between this world and the underworld. The lack of sunshine and light on the other side, as well as the toxic stench of boiling blood and melting flesh made her glands swell with defensive poisons and venoms.
Briar stops him with a sucker to each of his faces and her beaks open to squirt some toxic fluid onto the ground. Vomit maybe? Willow turned one face to look up at his rider and notices her colors are a bit more faded, the royal blue looking more sickly around the edges. Oh yeah. She wasnt just plant. Jumping through the underworld was killing her. Poor thing. “HEY CAN WE GET A MOVE ON?! THAT GIRL OWES ME A BODY!” his other face had been taken by one of the less hostile souls he carried and the human voice seemed to perk Briars interest.
He has human speech? I'd thought him to be a pure creature like myself. Or Feral as ‘humans’ called us. It makes sense though. Mother Zolla wouldn't have thought her capable of getting where she needs to be without a ‘sentient’ creature to guide her. Must she always prove herself? Oh well. This one seems ok.
The road ahead of them is long and the Sisters wouldn't stay in one place for more than a few days. Always moving those girls. Well. at least they had each other.
