In certain universes, Val serves in various military and pseudo military factions that utilize powered exosuits designed for combat conditions and protection. While all the specifics may change from iteration to iteration, much of the design remains consistent because i really don't want to buy art of every variation. Val's armor is exceptionally light, focusing on utilitarian functions, and keeping detection to a minimum instead of a heavy onboard armament or armor.
