Somewhere deep within the forest, something is rising.

It's been 2 years since I first started to care for this seedling. Nurtured it, sheltered it from the war. The Thunders were defeated, the Ground hunters retreated to the broken mountain, the human rejoiced and continue their destruction and havoc upon the land. And the forests ... the forests endure ...

The great white tree, the spiritual landmark of all things both living and dead, was destroyed. The damage was too great, slowly, death takes over. The leaves faded, the branches, shattered. What once was god descended, now, is nothing more than a ruin.

My anger was interrupted by a sound. So sudden. Then, came light. The cave shines like the sun and the moon combined. I look away, shield my eyes with my arms and cloak.
Then, from the glimmer ... I see life, itself ... so small, so weak and pitiful
and yet ...
