Say that three times fast :U heu
These little guys are, like the title said; Are Rommel's minions that assist him in his experiments and act as additional staff for his laboratory. The idea is that rommel has made them out of the toxic by-products of his experiments, he found a way to take that pollution and make use of it; this is how these strange critters are born. Think of them as living chemical reactions, each varies in texture, colour(s), and their mouth and eyes also vary from individual to individual. For their colouring theme, I sorta based them on the idea of Stained Glass and how they produce the desired colours to produce quality glass. So the one in the pic is composed of a mixture of Manganese and Nickel with minor elements of Selenium and Copper Oxide. Despite their chemical composition they are not toxic to those around them, even if the chemicals composed of would produce toxic effects. But this doesn't mean they are not either, they use their natural chemical composition as a form of defense as well as certain individuals can fire gouts of intense manganese-fire, others able to suffocate or knock out people, while others can cause their touch to melt materials or flesh like butter.
As for their personality, they are very inquisitive and quick-learners yet prone to act of whimsy and procrastination to ire of Rommel. But they are loyal to fault though, the love rommel and other friends that romm knows especially if they spend prolonged contact with them xD. They tend to have mannerisms of cats, meaning they like to boop people with either their hands or tail. I am not sure what to call them to be honest, I have been trying to think of a name for the species.
