Pretty much how I was infront of Meat Loaf not long ago.
We got our 'Braver Than We Are' booklets signed and I just wanted to blather and tell him how much of an inspiration he was to me to keep on going, he had a great sense of humour and we shook his hand too!
I never thought i'd ever get to meat him, EVER...then the opportunity came up and
and I took it as soon as we could.
I'll always remember that night, it was wonderful. I finally got to meet the man who inspired a lot of my artwork and to keep pushing.
I almost gushed at him but in the end just smiled and said 'Thank You'...he told me and my bf we were awesome when we left the table, so...happy!
(We also defended him from some horrible folks trying to take photos of him when he EXPLICITLY said NO PHOTOS. I told the security staff and the people got told off for 'secretly' filming him...horrible.)
I literally was a mess when standing in-front of him, I didn't cry, I was so jittery and excited I could have burst!
