*shrugs* Nah, I don't think the gator's idea is too post-modern. Actually, I think it'd be a great foundation for a cartoon.
"ESCAPE FROM DUNECHOO"
You know, something in the same category as Pinky & The Brain or Samurai Jack, with the yo-yo plot point being the otter's attempts to get out of Dunechoo, which he either fails to do, or succeeds but winds up back inside at the end anyway.
Might also make a nice little ploy in case his villainous reputation ever becomes too much for him to handle.
Police: "Mr. E-Choo, we'd like to have a word with you about all the animals that have gone missing in the last five years."
Gator: "Ah, yew means de supportin' cast an de extras?"
