Good coloring!

I've kicked around a few ideas for a video series that follows the life of a video game boss. One thing I've thought of is a sash that makes the hero immortal by stopping him from losing his last bit of health, but the game is now unwinnable. Why? The boss has an initial attack that drains the hero of everything and the sash only stops the loss of the one sliver of health. So, the hero falls to the floor, unable to stand up, and the boss just throws him into the dungeon to be tortured with the sash still on. Best part, there was another item that blocked magic, but picking up the sash cuts off access to that item.
