Wow, it has been ages since my last painting. Motivation has been a bit low, and being stuck on trying to create a fursona is not helpful either. But a few days ago I finally forced myself to do something, and started working on this image that had found its way into my head.
I have to say I am starting to like the 16:9 ratio for my paintings more and more. Same goes for this particular painting style. This brush is just so damn convenient...

Thank you :) All those colours in the shadows were a lot of fun to work on.
I have now roughly settled on a species and first name. Appearance is still a bit uncertain though. I'm considering just drawing him a few times and maybe let the design evolve spontaneously.
