Berlynn is most well-known for touring concert venues to sing 80s-style New Wave and Space Rock songs. They are androgynous, similar to Ziggy Stardust, Prince and Annie Lennox. They're pretty popular in the anthro communities of the USA and UK, but still unknown in the human communities. Berlynn is from the same world as The Fab Gears, Tigris, Harp, The Prairees and others.

They're first name was taken from the 80s band Berlin and they're surname means "Star Nova", a nova is a star that shows a sudden large increase in brightness and then slowly returning to its original state over a few months, similar to how music artists are in the limelight when topping the charts but return to a normal state in between albums. It would also mean "StarNoGo" as in a star that won't fade.

Berlynn loves old nostalgic 80s stuff especially if it has to do with stars or the universe. They often wear things that glow in the dark like necklaces or bracelets because they feels a deep connection with the universe and wants to glow like stars do.

Berlynn says "We are all made up of carbon, nitrogen and oxygen atoms that sprinkled through Earths atmosphere from generations of novas and supernova stars when they exploded billions of years ago. This stuff didn't previously exist here on Earth. We are literally made of stars and that's why I feel so close to that immense universe up there." as they gaze above.
