At Eurofurence 2008, BigBlueFox asked if I could help out with an interview. A very popular German publication (Zeit Online) wanted to cover the convention, and I was more than happy to field some questions since I was having such an awesome time.
About a week later, BigBlueFox sent me the link to the article. And there I was, splashed on the front page. Go me! I don't know if BigBlueFox or any of the EF staff ever got around to translating the article without terrible Babelfish gobbledigook, but if you want to see the article in its entirety:

By the way, Eurofurence: Best. Con. Ever. If you have the means, go. I don't think I'll be able to make it this year for finance reasons (not enough green), and that makes me a sad 'roo.

Translation from the german-speaking Lion:
Oh, isn't it cute?
"Furries" are people that love fantasy creatures. The regular crowd would rather hang out. Our author went to the European Furmeet, and felt naked not wearing a costume.

"The fox part of me was always there," says Marion Fischer, sitting in the lobby of the Ringberhotel and stroking her bushy, red tail. "Others used to play house with a mom, a dad, and a kid - with me, it was always mother, father, kid and fox."
With her fox-tail, Fischer fits in well here. Every third person wears a tail behind them, and every fourth person a full-body-costume: there are raccoons, polar bears, all manner of cats, foxes, wolves, and any other possible fantasy creature - and all are fuzzy and cuddly. The fans of this lifestyle are called Furries, much like Star Trek fans call themselves Trekkies. And this is a five day long event for the 14th Eurofuerence, the largest annual furry convention in Europe.
