Even though I'm a little bit late for the actual occasion, I thought I'd share this unique photo-op, taken on September 11, 2016 - by one of my brother's friends (who, in turn, E-mailed it to Glenn).
Said friend took this digital picture of the New York City skyline - including the Freedom Tower (a.k.a. One World Trade Center) in lower Manhattan, and the two beams of light (symbolizing the 'twin towers' of the original World Trade Center that once stood in that spot, before the tragic events of 9-11-01) on the site of the "9-11 Memorial". The Statue of Liberty can be seen to the left of the base of the Freedom Tower, and the Empire State Building can be seen on the extreme left side of this picture.
Hopefully, I'll post this particular image (in my 'Featured Submission' section) prior on "Patriots' Day" in future years.
