I thought it would be an interesting twist to have a _rodent_ as a master of snakes. This amazing, writhing mass of slithering awesomeness is what resulted from that. Svenlin is a rat who possesses a commanding affinity with his many varied pet snakes. He has become so close to his slithering brethren that even his tongue has become forked, like his friends.
