Feng had been invited by one of the queen of the hives after she found ought that feng had saved her daughter snd few changeling foals from group of bandits. Though feng has been to parties before he was fascinated by the changelings version of the grand galloping that held ever few years as a say for queens and changeligns from other hives to get to know one another, talk about politcts, even enjoy exqusite food that changeling and even non changelings have prepared. It is very rare for a non-changeling to attend such and even as those that often do get invited often end up cooking food for the hives or end up as entertaintment and play beautiful compositions of music, with their memory usually erased and replaced with another though there had been some cases where if the pony, griffon, dragon, or anyone they invite is trustworthy and keep it a secret their mind woudl not ne earsed or altereed in anyways

A unique thing anout the changeling gala that its never in same place every time it held, it always being held at random locations at times and built by builder caste and even destroyed afterwords. This is done so other changeling queens and hives dont have a chance to try somethg to the other hives or even some non-changelings figure out location of the gala and end up attacking it. Each time the even is held not only does location change but a a different hive host it as well, choosing a location of the gala, what will be serves, what mind music and entertainment etc.
