Questions and Answers:Are you selling sketches?
Well because I’m doing sketches on a raffle I’ve decided to have it more distinct from say a line-art commission. Plus, its lot more streamline at least art-wise to move onto the line art format instead of sketching which would simple waste time for positional upgrades in the future.
Can I upgrade a Line-art?
Yes you can and all it’ll cost is the make-up difference between costs of the last image to the next tier of construction, as in the difference between Line-art and Shading FX.
Can I upgrade a Sketch?
Yes you can but since it’s not exactly streamline it would only be at a $5 discount for upgrades. Since essentially I’m remaking the image again from Raffles.
What is simple?
It’s the artist’s choice. More specifically if you don’t order a background but I feel the need to draw something or rather to compensate for the integrity of the picture than it’s up for me to decide with no exception. This could be a wall, a rattle, a doll, an object not mentioned like a chair or something but any more detail than that would be complicated.
What is complicated?
For backgrounds it’s anything more complicated than a wall and window. For objects it’s anything more than say a pacifier or doll, and for backgrounds it’s anything more than a wall or window. And for costumes it’s anything more than a T-shirt, jeans and socks, a nice simple dress or at the most a buttoned up shirt and pants. But in the end it’s the artist’s choice what complicated means which could mean anime style costumes or uniforms, armor, or any kind of military garment, or any sort of cybernetic or mechanized prosthetic limbs.
What is an alternate version?
Essentially it’s version that has something missing or added from the original designs, such as background, a costume or significant alteration. If it’s a simple thing like a messy version then there will be no charge. But it it’s a full revamp like different costumes, or missing articles of clothing, then it will be charged as an extra charge minus a 20% discount. Once again, it’s the Artist’s choice.
How are sequences charged?
Currently, Sequences are charged as an extra character charge per number of appearances. But because they may feature the same character multiple times it can be considered a discount for certain amount of panels (see commission sheet for details). However, the same restrictions apply as far as complicated backgrounds, costumes, props, etc, maybe at an extra charge for certain considerations, but other than that, such prices can be negotiated.
Do you draw non-diapered art?
Absolutely. I’d draw practically anything so long as it wasn’t illegal and I knew how or could attempt to do…. And I was paid to of course.
Can I upgrade a sketch?
Yes, absolutely. But since it’s technically remake an old drawing will to basic line art prices but since it’s already been design there shall be a $2 off a regular commission prices. If someone wins in raffle and wants to upgrade that sketch then it will only be at the next tier of development such as Line-art then Flat Color then finally Shading FX.
What is a Chibi-style character?
Essentially, a Chibi Character is about the same of a baby but with a bigger head and yes. However, this discount could apply to baby characters more than say 3 years old or something like. More details on that on a case by case reference.
Are there any other discounts?
Yes. There may be times when I feel the need to draw something specifically, like say Furry creature or a cute creature or even specifically girl characters. In case like that there will be a made an announcement on specifies of price and details on said discount.
I’m sure there’s a lot more questions, but I’ll have to see if I can find the answers some day.
