After Littlest Pet Shop ended, Pepper Clark pursued her dream of becoming a stand-up comedian. This saw only marginal success, earning Pepper just enough money to get by on a diet entirely of greasy fast food. As expected this lead to her putting on some weight, but what she didn't see coming was her weight gain helping her in her shows. Her pear-shaped figure resulted in a rather large posterior that audiences loved. She worked this into her act, making plenty of butt jokes as she shakes her rear at the audience. This lead to an increase in ticket sales for her shows, which in turn earned her enough money to intentionally put on more pounds and get an even bigger butt.
At some point her friend Zoe Trent urged her to get a 'real job'- somehow within a day Pepper managed to land a teaching job at GUT, a world-famous university and very fat-friendly place.
