Lo siento, but it has been a long time since I spoke or read much Spanish. How long? How long have you been alive? Maybe 1985; that's when I broke up with a girl born in Guadalajara, Mexico after dating for seven or eight years. When I visited her parent's house, I had to respond in Spanish if they addressed me in English, and I could only speak to them in English if they spoke to me in Spanish. That's how they kept seven kids sharp and fluent in both languages. Simple, and it worked!
