*Nods.* Well, you might want to avoid using the 'Chakat' term unless it is actually one- mostly due to the fact that non-herm fans might just pass it up.

I almost did, until I looked at it.

don't ever doubt your abilities! Even if no one likes your work, never doubt it because your work isn't for them! If they like it, wonderful, if they don't, screw 'em, cause then they're just missing out on your creative genius, you know?

I got told that by a really amazing artist who I call friend (Agent Elrond, yeah I'm dropping names now ^.^) And you know, it's true! If you're slapping artwork up here, unless you're being commissioned it'd better be something you love, otherwise, why the HELL did you draw it/color it/render it/what the hell ever! Love the pose and posture in this piece. Something about the way the hand grasps the wooden pole on the left (which may or may not be a spear of some sort, but that's how I imagine it). The way he's laying his taur half down, it just looks darn comfy. Right down to the little details of the whiskers, bits of fur, the claws ... it all just comes together. I'm no expert on drawing anatomy, so I can't really comment there, but everything looks good to me! *faves* Keep it up. :)
