Matty took so long to get inside the house that the black (and some of the white) icing started melting and dripping.

It's not that hard~
It just takes alot of time, alot of bowls, alot of pans, and 2 trips into most ovens.
I think I used 3 boxes of white cake mix. That or I used 2. (I forget)
Then just divide it up evenly and put each part into it's own bowl to mix.
The only tricky part is getting the layers to be the right color with food coloring.
Best advice there would just be to mix it as you go.
Once the colors got close, I'd add one drop and mix. Then add another if I had to.
You'll need about 3 containers of frosting too.
