The lion swallowed deeply, sending the panicked chameleon down into his cramped gut. The tiny lizard could hardly squirm in the breadbasket-sized gut- especially as he felt powerful muscles squeeze down on him, reducing his already small bulge into a flat stomach once again. Maybe if he'd had an arrow he could've made his companion cough him up, but the lion had taken his only one from him to use as a toothpick. And with such a discrepancy in size and strength modifiers he was staying there for as long as the lion wanted. Which really left only two options as he felt his health points waver: squirming around helplessly, and pleading.
"L-leon, wait! I don-"
"Minus one"
Right on cue the lizard felt his health drop that single point, sending a tingle over him as if a limb had fallen asleep. "Ack! I don't have much health yet! I'm ta-"
"Minus one~"
Again came the discomforting tingle- this time stronger, prompting the chameleon to start squirming once again. Well, as much as he could. The tight gut took care of most of his efforts, leaving muted, paltry struggles only noticeable to the outside as a pronounced gurgle, not even visible against the off-white fur.
"Nng! I'm t-taking acid and suffocation dama-"
"Honestly, Roy, you know I'm gonna let you out at 1 HP, right? Just relax and enjoy it!"
The chameleon whimpered, trying to raise his head to press it against the entrance to the throat but he could not break free of the curled-up position he'd been forced into. He panted but it seemed the lion wanted more arguments out of the small chameleon, as after a few seconds he gave a pronounced, "... Minus one."
"Gah!"
It wasn't long until the lion started moving again, counting the seconds- and pleadings- from inside his gut. Minus one... Minus another... And minus a third, keeping track of his little friend's slowly degrading health. The arrow was beginning to wear out so he flicked it aside, letting out a small belch under his breath and snickering at the sudden bout of pressure in his gut as the chameleon inside squirmed harder again. He'd stopped paying attention to his companion, instead focusing on that count.
He could let it run out but that'd use up some of their rare ingredients when Grim would have to revive their friend. It'd teach him a lesson for making so many bad puns though. The struggling in his gut weakened.
"Minus one. Alright, Roy, time to come up before you lose that last health point."
Clenching his abs, he hear a small yelp from inside his gut as the lizard's head and shoulders suddenly popped into his throat. Roy wriggled as he was pressed higher and higher up until at last his chin began to slip out onto the broad, rough tongue, light beginning to spill inside as Leon opened his fang-filled jaws wide.
"Oh th-thank you! Jeez, I feel like I could sleep for a weak! Grim's gonna be angry at having to heal me you know!"
Leon only chuckled, letting the chameleon slip out further, head and chest peaking out from between his jaws as his hands struggled to emerge from the throat. But there he stopped, jut watching the small, chime coated ranger try to squirm the rest of his way out. Leon huffed in amusement as the chameleon turned his head back to give him a confused look. And then the large fangs came down, not enough to pierce flesh or do much at all- just 1 point of damage.
Roy yelped as he felt the final burst of tingling sensation flood his form, slowly pixelizing him and unraveling his slickened form. "L-Leon! When I get back I'm gonna take my arrows and shove them strai- ..."
Leon licked his lips, the taste of the larger-than-usual chameleon fresh on them. "Sorry, Roy. Couldn't resist a parting nibble~!"

So some friends and I are starting a DnD campaign (or trying to, rather), and Leon decided to eat me before we even began. I wasn't even a micro! I was 2 and a half feet tall! He just... Was taller. A lot taller. Darn it!
For the record he didn't kill me though, but if we ever do manage to get the ingredients for a revival, I'm gonna have to really watch out for him. He (probably) wouldn't outright digest me but if it only knocks me out of the game for a few minutes I wouldn't put it past him.
Imma have to find a way to stop that, actually. Hmmm...

We're voting now!
We might not be able to 'cause Jackson's new at DMing and might get a bit overwhelmed, but things're looking good on getting ourselves a peasant to carry our stuff in-game! I mean, uh, things're looking good on getting some food on legs to follow us around! Yes. Wait that's worse... Nevermind.

Ah, that'd be a shame. I'm sure we could do some morning (your evening) stuff though. Or we could corrupt your already nocturnal schedule even further, thereby sending your entire life into disarray for our own amusement to allow you to join. But either way! Disembodied voices work well, too.
