A bit of explanation is required for this one. So pay attention if you want to understand it.
Grey practicies Kenjutsu, or 'the art of the sword', and supplements his technique with the power of his chi. His brother, because of the fact they've trained with their father, does the same, but his sister, unfortunately because of her history, is more proficient in the arts of Ninjutsu, or more commonly known as Ninpo.
She's taught Grey a few ninjutsu techniques, one being the ability to duplicate himself. Most of us Naruto fans (see definition: Naru-tard) know this affectionately as Kage-Bushin-no-jutsu.
Whenever I go on 'away' status or go 'idle' I commonly refer this as me leaving behind a clone to take messages for me, and as you can see, he's commonly pounced on and is prone to sploding into a birrion pieces.
Which makes for a messy cleanup, but is all just for comical purposes. \o/
The last panel is 'me' returning to find my clone completely destroyed by a rogue pounce by

Well for the most part he does, but Cotton just loved to poke at the clone, enough where he found the correct button and blew him to bits.
So now apparently whenever he pounces him, he somehow just makes him splode.
But the clone does just go poof most of the time :p We just thought it more comical if bits were left behind to sweep up.

Heheh. Well his ninjutsu isn't very... refined, since he isn't a ninja. :p His sister basically taught him a few of the basics and they've come in very handy to the point where he's actually considered taking her up as a training partner.

But they had gotten the concept from actual historical reports. Ninjas didn't know how to duplicate themselves, but rather give the illusion of duplication. I wasn't thinking of Naruto when I made this, but can be easily confused for it since people often reference current shows for skills when most are just remakes of techniques to older shows.
Kinda like how Death's mother didn't figure out she was talking to a robe on the coatrack for 20 minutes before she realized Death wasn't in it.

hmm too true... i can see that *nods along* you my friend have a vast amountof knowlege i think and lol yup naruto is a nifty series but i wish i could take away all the crazy fans that ruin it for people! also if your looking at the manga you can possibly see that naruto is about to come to a end.

I don't keep up on the manga due to my status as a college student, BUT I do have people in the grapevine and I have heard of this and it confuses me.
The crazy fans? Eh, true, but then again if that's the case, then you'd probably get rid of 90% of the fanbase.
It's the same with the furry subculture.
