I really have nothing to comment here in the description, maybe that I should have named this comic "50 shades of green" LOL. It's going to be a challenge to draw forest backgrounds multiple times :o

What a beautiful comic! Out of interest, Zeta, what's your storyboarding process when you're planning out a comic like this? Do you brainstorm out the plot with
mytigertail and have it all plotted out well in advance, or do you plan in a more broad-brush-strokes sort of manner?
Many thanks! ^^

I usually write the whole story alone in a week, then I get help from
and
to refine and change parts that can be better or just won't fit the comic style. Then I check if I can cut a certain scenes or shorten them, if they're really needed to the story I want to tell.
Then I make a comic version of the story I first wrote, separating what will happen in each page, how many panels it will have, etc. I add annotations for myself, for when I sketch the thumbnails for each page. Once that is ready, the story already exists and feels very secure, the only remaining part is working on re-creating and rendering each page, which is what I've been doing haha, and it takes a lot more than the preparations I mentioned ;w;

Thanks for the explanation - and for the wonderful effort you and others dedicate to producing this work. ^^
I love intimacy and porn as much as the next person, but your comics seem to aim for including a message beyond just gorgeous artwork. Do you set out with a moral in mind when you're creating a piece like this, or does it develop more 'naturally'? :)

A bit of both, I have a few other stories after Weekend 2 that are waiting to be made, and I feel like those were worked around a moral from beggining
to end, while Weekend 1 and 2 got a lot of inspiration from my personal life and relationship, making it feel more natural to produce, but at the same time they have a moral behind them. I think that on Weekend 1 is that only by opening yourself, you'll be able to let good things happen in your life. But there's more that you can take from that first story, I'm sure =o About the Weekend 2, I can't reveal here sorry xD but it might become clearer after a few more pages!
And you're welcome! Thanks for appreciating my work like this

Thanks for fhe explanations Zeta. I was also wondering where it cames from and if here was a meaning undet these stories except then just "write a comic cause I want to". That's why I love Weekend and it's sequel and why it is my comic #1. Except for maybe... One other comic, few are the comics that have hidden messages and abord sex in a romance way. Or.. Well.. Of what I saw. Or into a sonewhat realist romance situation. I always thinked of the first Weekend as a way to know what is really love and a reflection of an amorous state of feeling. The second one reflect more the up and downs of this relationship and, if it continues like it started, a way to teach the different drama situations that can happens and solutions. How a good couple can resolve these problems between them and how kinda to makes their relationship even better. If you understand what I mean.
