Stayed up late! C:
I goobed off online until like 7, and then read some of “The Reapers are the Angels” before going to sleep.
Anyway dad called at 1:30 to tell me it was a good time to weed eat. First of all, due to my work schedule, waking me up at 1:30 PM is like me waking him up at 4:30 AM. I think he knows that, since he's well aware of my schedule, but I think he dun care. Secondly, I was in sleep-mode, meaning I say and do anything to get back to bed, so I told him yep, I was totes going up there to weed eat right now, before going back to sleep.
I woke at 4:30 to mum's phone call, and got ready and ate some chili and read some more of my book. At like 6 I went next door to help tutor the daughter of one of mom's frands. She has had cancer treatment in her leg, so is home schooled this year, and I helped her figure out how to rearrange equations to isolate specific variables. It only took like 30 minutes, so after I went home and got the weed eater and went to work on that! That didn't take too long either...
Also glasses. Safety first! c:
After I went home and got a shower and doodled a butterfly for mum's looming birthday.

And a bit of a pro-tip, try running only one line as its easier to wind, doesn't tangle inside of the housing, and tends to cut better. Also try removing the plastic guard from the end of the shaft as it is only in place to keep your line cut at a certain length, but it also gets in the way if you're trying to trim between shrubs and such.

uuuuugh I haaaate weed whackers with a passion, the ones my parents had growing up had to be plugged in, I haaaaate cords, I hated them more then the weed whacker cause it would always get kinked and caught on everything all the time, sometimes just on blades of grass it seems! Give me twice the lawn to mow if only it meant no weed whacking!
OOOH! I am so jealous, I bought one at a yard sale for 10 bucks, really heavy duty and all that, didn't run but for the price I figured why not. Looked it over and it seemed like besides a little rust the only real issue was the fuel lines were breaking up so I replaced those and it didn't work, pulled everything apart several times only got it to run for a few seconds at a time. I was a very disappointed 13 year old then.
