Ya know, =| I think I spend too much time giving detailed info about totally minor characters |D Anyway here's Smog Check, one of my personal faves. Actually the last three are all faves of mine. For personality, colors or other varying reasons =p
Invader Name: Smog Check
Height: 5’3’’
(Actual body height; with its extra limbs it is much taller)
Technical Gender: Male
Age: 24
Nickname: Smog
Species: Mutant Qwuedeviv
Rank: 1st Lieutenant
Appearance: Smog’s main colors are a dark teal with yellow rings around its black paws, tail tip, muzzle and belly. Several pinkish tinged eyes adorn its body.
Personality: Smog is an intimidating Qwuedeviv by appearance and its personality is not under disguise. Judging a book by its cover would be entirely acceptable in this case. Smog has no sense of pride or respect for others. It has a severe cruel streak and thinks terrorizing minds is a great game. Smog makes no attempt to blend in. It finds its job to be a lot of fun and a fantastic challenge.
Background: Smog is an example of why we don’t subject Qwuedeviv to too much radioactivity and nuclear products in general. The other Qwuedeviv have never seen anything quite like Smog. It has a fairly solid form, but its soggy skin seems to slide off in globs at random. Not to mention how stretchy said skin is. One could easily pull it a far distance from the Qwuedeviv’s body and it would slop back into place—probably leaving behind some residue though. The eyes that show are more and less visible at varying times depending on how much of its skin has slid off or not. It uses its tail and long secondary appendages for walking. Its internal structure does very strange things and seems to have moderate shifting ability.
Smog grew up in one of the giant junkyards of Qwuh-9 along with Mesh. Smog works with Mesh as a second party to the mercenaries. The two along with a third, hunt down Qwuedeviv deserters and revolutionists. Smog and Mesh both move around from place to place a lot, staying on planets for only a short time.
Smog is definitely not a sight one wants to see at the door—human and ‘deviv alike. Mesh acts as the leader of the two with Smog following its orders and causing quite a bit of pain and damage in the process.
Facts:
Smog’s voice is gurgly sounding due to globs of the skin inside its mouth sliding off at all times.
Smog is nearly blind in its right eye
Smog can form wet tentacles out of drawing their skin particles back together in a condensed form—they fall off relatively quickly though.
Smog has a rotting smell to it from the constant deteriorating of its skin.
If Smog pulls apart its skin too much for varying purposes the muscle beneath it will begin to crust and dry out.
Smog grows new skin at an alarmingly fast rate so it normally has no issue using it.
Smog has been known to throw globs at people—of dead gooey skin, yes.
Smog doesn’t wear actual clothes but rather wraps itself in bandage strips. This helps draw out some of the moisture coating its body to prevent whatever is covered by it from sliding off.
Smog is hard to grab and hard to injure because of its slimy outer layer—it is slippery and thus has a lot of give upon impact.
