Sometimes, all someone needs is a good hug, and honestly, who better to give it than a warm, gentle Cacturne with vines? I really like this pic since it kind of perks me a bit too see it and really, a hug from him would feel fantastic.
Before you start trying to go off about cactus-based anatomy and such, a reminder that Xelvic's anatomy is set up in that the only real "sharp" parts of his body are his large spines, but even those can be smooth and gentle in his understanding embrace.
