The happy fridge is not spooky at first:
anyone who's hungry thinks of it as a very friendly appliance!
But the annoyed critter at the upper right: what's that about?
Is he annoyed that the freezer compartment is empty,
or that he was interrupted in his Eskimo training as require for Alaska homesteading?

The "gents" reminds me of recent nonsense for gender-neutral bathrooms.
For years, there were attempts at deploying internationally understood icons
for the bathrooms. Now that's all thrown away.
I was just at a mall with bathrooms simply "M" and "W".
NOT dyslexic friendly!
I'd prefer the box vs. triangle icon any day!
