Once again, that ongoing clean-up session in my cluttered condo resulted in the discovery of some past art of mine - this time, being another 'fat furry doodle'...
Back in the last decade, when I was a toll collector on the Sawgrass Expressway, I was drawing on the back of fliers from the Florida Department of Transportation (which I was required to distribute to motorists - none of whom really wanted them). I'd doodled during lulls in my tollbooth (whenever no cars came down my lane), using just a simple ballpoint pen on the blank side of said fliers.
One of these doodles was inspired by a woman I saw (back in 2007), who was wearing a T-shirt with the message "It's All About Me!" (referring to her being self-centered). Eventually, this doodle led to my rendering of 'Whitney' - the corpulent cat Latina character of
Dutch from his "Misty Mouse" webcomic - wearing a tee with the same message on it. (My bobcat 'fursona' put in an appearance in that drawing - with commentary provided in a speech balloon). That full-color image was one of my earliest posts in "Fur Affinity", under the title "All About Me" - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/959978/
Having rediscovered the original doodle (with a full-figured feline who differs from 'Whitney'), I've decided to touch it up and publicly present it here for the first time...
