Most of the corrazina parts are done now.

The fauld skirts need to be finished, but they are cut, dished and curved.

What you see here are the breast and back parts duct taped together for fit.

Its a bit small for me, but it was always intended as a sale item.
So it doesn't have to fit me.

I needed to do one to see how the parts looked and fit together.
Now that I have done one, I can modify the pattern to fit better, and try again.

My mini english wheel has been a complete lifesaver in this project.
Hours and hours of mind numbingly laborious planishing...Done effortlessly in minutes by squishing the plates between two heavy steel wheels.... Glorious!

And it makes evening out the curves and matching both sides of a piece a piece of cake.

How did I ever live and work sheet metal without one?


Theres a number of tiny tweaks these plates need before this kit is done.
But its mostly small scale stuff. Just bending the edges of plates here, bending them out there, twist one slightly so the edges of two plates meet up evenly, etc.

A days worth of casual work at most.
