[ANIMATION] Lipstick Magic Mishap

Ryuu finds out the hard way that he should practice his spells more before using them on himself. In this case he wanted to save time and have instant fabulous red lipstick, but it has bizarre side effects and makes his lip plump out tremendously - even giving him a full upper lip! Quickly overcoming the shock of this strange effect, he makes the most of it to dish out the kisses...but it turns out the distorted magic isn't done yet and continues to make those smoochers grow! Talk about a bloated backfire...
First real try at animating so it's not perfect, but I thought the concept was too silly and fun to not finish. I have a strange mind indeed! Used Photoshop to animate this frame by frame

Ryuu definitely needs that gun for now! He didn't even mean to make an upper lip sproing out, he was only trying to magic on some lipstick D: That noodle needs to focus on getting his spells under control and not keep being distracted by...well, everything XD
Thanks too! It's a really weird animation but a niche interest I guess. At least we get to see a full-lipped Ryuu again when I draw that L.I.P comic for you...just not QUITE as out of control massive like here ;)

One kiss is also an instant fur colour change if the big sassy derg happens to be wearing lipstick - considering a smooch from Ryuu is normally really engulfing imagine the sheer intensity of a kiss with these blimped puppies!
It took a long time and as you know I was forever adding new stuff to it but I think it paid off! You may need a towel after all that smoochiness though...

I'm sure with enough time and practice he can master the magic of lip plumping, I can imagine he really wants to use it halfway through a makeout session with one of his dates. That'd be a huge (and squishy) shock for whoever is pinned under his lips!

Thanks, I'm really happy you appreciate all the wackiness going on here, it probably is one of the silliest things I've worked on so far - but I ran with it!
I'll admit it does look way better in its non compressed state but I guess quality has to be sacrificed when exporting for the web. The lipstick screen smear was super fun to do though, something I wanted to do for ages. Like a little personal smooch from the big dragon to everyone! <3
As for the ridiculous lips size, perhaps this will teach Ryuu to study his magic a lot better - it's certainly a big enough lesson! ;)

You can bet your muddy wings there'll be more backfiring magic shenanigans, there are too many fun scenarios for Ryuu to get into - more so when he gets other people involved! He'll get better eventually but for now his failings are our entertainment ;)

Good to see my hard work on this paid off, judging by your icon I'd say you're quite the plump lip connoisseur so I'm happy to get your approval <3 The animation originally stopped at the screen smooch but I figured I could take it further and weirder...and I'm glad I did! You wouldn't believe how much time I put into perfecting those rippling jiggle physics haha.

It’s only rarely when I think hyper lips is done well! This is one of those instances, I’m happy to say! They jiggle and sway, and they always look good on his face! I know this is an old animation, but I really do hope to see more, because this is excellent! He’s so 😍 ~ !
