-With a small wiggle of his nub tail, the little purple grem waddled past the libraries quiet visitors with an over sized book hugged tightly to his chest. He shoved past the slightly taller human that had been guarding their table and let the book slam down on the table, much to the shock to the other guests.
Talus looked up at his partner in confusion as the little grem bounced around excitedly.
"What's with the book Soren? You seem pretty excited over something so musty..." He spoke soft and hushed. Even though the grem owned the library he knew Soren still got upset when people spoke up.
"WELL TALUS" Soren started excitedly. "This is book is the encyclopedia of the world! It carries the known knowledge of Palleth. I used to read this all the time when I was a young grem and it was my favorite thing ever." The small grem gave a wistful sigh. "I thought I lost it until I discovered it back in the storage room."
Talus glanced down at the dusty and torn leather book cover. It certainly was interesting but it wasn't motorcycles so it didn't cause him much excitement.
"Well I'm glad to hear it. I'm guessing we won't be getting much sleep now that you've got this?" Smiling lightly he ran his fingers through the soft purple fur. Soren shook his head.
"Not a wink!"
