Answer: I LIKE OTHER POKEMON TOO, GAHD! Meowth specifically holds a dear place in my heart since he was my favorite character in the show when I was a kid. And when the Alolan Meowth was announced I had a friend just say "It's you. It's just you irl." So this was just mandatory in my life.
